Hey bud.

Yeah, I reckon I like how it looks too.

Just wanted to get a few opinions.

Other areas to wrap would be the slats on the grille, the vents in the front bumper and boot spoiler.

But I don't want it to look "overkill".

I like the way the front bumper section looks though.

Damn that was my idea :-P you beat me to it. Im doing the same thing on my regular amg bumper. I was thinking about just painting but then i realized if i got bored of it, what would i do then? So vinyl it is It looks great although i would not do it carbon fiber style (My personal preference). My choice would be just gloss black

I just realized you guys were talking about the grill and im talking about the lip between the fogs :-P This is a rough photoshop edit of what im talking about

Here is another idea i was thinking of, im not sure if i like it but wrapping the plastic corner pieces in black

Hey guys.
Thanks for all your responses.

For my car, carbon fibre is prooving quite tricky to get hold of.

That's why I'm thinking of wrapping.

I agree with the comments on gloss black. I reckon that'll work well too.

I've had another idea too!.. I'll see if I can edit another picture later.

First picture looks best.

blackening the plastic covers on the second picture doesn't do it for me.
It kinda spoils the lines of the bodywork alittle.

But the first one looks cracking!

Hopefully later, I'll show you another idea I've had.

Im not a big fan of it either now that i look at it. I think im just going to wrap the lip then just like you have it on your 63 bumper.

Looking forward to the other idea, if you need a photoshop edit let me know

Another idea...

(excuse my poor attempt to edit a pic. LOL)

The blacked-out area would be wrapped.

Not bad, i still think the initial one looks better. It reminds of the new sl 63s with the blacked out center lip and i've been itching to do it my self. The carbon fiber is definetly not a bad alternative, i'm still debating on mine since im getting the carbon fiber diffuser from vis so it might be wise to wrap it carbon fiber but at the same time might be pricey as well unless you go for faux material. Problem with that for me is that then i have to wrap the diffuser in the same texture

If you're getting the Vis rear diffuser, you may want to look at getting CF for the front too.
It'd almost be shameful to wrap a beautiful CF rear diffuser, eh.

You guys are lucky.
I can't get a CF rear diffuser ANYWHERE in the UK.
Properly sucks.

The only option for me is to order one from Vis and hope it doesn't get broken on the way over.

Yeah, I kinda prefer my first pic too.

I think if I had the vents done too, it'll look great.
May even get the boot spoiler done too, to balance things.

I've been hunting for this guys pics!
I remember seeing it a while ago and was desperately trying to find them.

You're right too, it was seeing this car that got me thinking.

That sucks that there are no shops that can mold the diffuser for you, its an awesome look with the quad tips. Linh has it done on his car and a couple of other members, quiet beautiful.

Yeah it might be wise for me to just wrap the center lip in carbon, i just have to see how much it costs. I'm having tremendous expenses on the car with the upgrade to AMG Eibach suspension, AMG bodykit, plus the paint job and the damn quad setup. I will be doing all of this summer so ill post some updates.

I'm not sure about the vents, it might look good you have to see because on the black series it looks awesome but then again those vents are attachable to the bumper so they stick and yours go in. I have a feeling though it should be pretty nice.

Yeah man, it's bad over here for Benz mods.
You can get all kinds of buuuuullsh#t for your BM's over here, but no Benz stuff really.

Sounds like you're spending lots, but good money on the car.
Good for you.

Yeah, I'll see about the vents.
You're right. Mine are quite different from the Black Series vents.
