some recent changes ive made and a new project im working on. . .

I went from this ugly thing

upgraded to clears from ebay

so it looks like this now, and im pretty happy with the turn out

Now here's the new project other than the suspension thread.
i bought it from a member in the C-Class forums. it was the old brabus shift knob. i think one of you owned it previously LOL

but it was a good price and i figured i could fix it. I didn't do my research prior to buying it. but it turns out, no one wants to reupholster this sucker. and for the most part, i dont think you can.

but this is how it looked like when i first got it.

decided to take it upon myself since i own it now to try to fix it. its not the best job but its def good for a temporary fix.

this is when i took the screws out and before i applied the klasse. i am waiting for the bolts to dry.

put the bolts in. but the pics dont do it justice. looks good in person. haha well good enough for now until i find another solution for it.

i took out the bolts, repainted them silver again. i found that i had some klasse cleaner in my closet from the last time i got it from mb. used some on the leather part of the knob and it looks a lot better know.

looking forward to install it in the summer.

thanks for reading and input

Brian

Wrap it with Di noc CF vinyl, it'll look much cleaner.

I was about to point it out, you shouldn't drive with it open, could slightly damage your windshield

unfortunately like two years ago, some ***** backed up into my front fender. which is why the front marks are there. the front fender got a little pushed it and misaligned the the hood by a cm. its noticable and i hate cleaning the car cause of it. im planning to see if my friend's body shop can do anything about it, since he just opened up shop so i get hookups, when i get more money over the summer. i dont think he will be able to fix it tho but hopefully. we will see.

i guess over two years, ive forgotten about it... till now. =(

Wrap it with Di noc CF vinyl? will it look good with wood trim tho? im worried thats its going to look off.
i did plan on wrapping it with like a matte black or something but that might look off as well. aha i guess i can try and play around with it first. see which one looks better.
