There are DIY kits available but from what read they do not always cover 100% on the edges so thats a deal breaker. The only other thing I could find was a total replacement, you send yours in and get other modded ones back but it was I think couple K. Based on my research I think the only option is to remove all the trim and get a pro wrap. Have a buddy that does that on large trucks and other maint vehicles for a living for ~ 15 years. I will definitely get my done along with the roof wrap. Hopefully a 12 pack plus a good steak and cost of materials will cover it

Looks awesome! I'm tired of the wood trim. Still considering CF or brushed aluminum. As its vinyl I guess one could do what ever color they want as there are so many to choose from. Gun metal would be interesting as well....

Nice!

Looks like that 3M Di-Noc Matte Carbon Fiber material. If they had Glossy 3M Carbon Fiber material I would try it too...

LOL didnt take any pictures while I was working on the car but I should have. I removed all the pieces myself (thanks to members on the forum) and paid a guy 200 to have them wrapped. It took total about 5 hrs to remove and wrap. It came on REALLY clean and all the corners came out perfect. Definitely worth it in my opinion

maybe you can work around it. i experimented with my laptop. i took a sheet much bigger than my laptop just in case. there is a cut off line and i cut along that line to get a nice even cut.

how did you remove the door panel trim. im scared to break it. it costs like 300+ to replace. i was thinking if i were to wrap it, i would just do it white it was on the door. wouldnt be too bad, i dont think

I wrapped a little more than just the trims, about a month ago.
Took me about 2 hrs, used up 1X4 feet of material about $30.

hey guys. i was talking to a couple of friends yesterday. i mentioned cf and they said that it was a little rice. lol

i think its just a sporty touch that we add to a classy car =)

so what would you guys say if someone told you your clk is like a rice rocket now. haha and not the classy car it was meant to be?

i got an extra shift piece coming in the mail. so ima wrap it for fun and see how it will look hahaha
