Depends on if you are willing to pay..lol...I mean you could always get some Nightshade and do it yourself. The only difference is the lens is amber instead of clear.

i bought the clear ones. i am pretty happy with the quality. the only thing i hated about them was they say depo on them or something like that up close. but not even noticeable from a standing distance.

it can be sanded down. but i didnt even bother with it. it wasnt even noticeable when when i was standing next to it. i only saw it when i took it out the box and when i was installing it. so i would recommend not to even bother with it(sanding down).

this will be my next target as well. I remember seeing a thread that some guys advices to just paint the OEM ones... I think it was dyno who suggested that too... I just can't find the thread anymore...
using the search option gives me all thread of mbworld forums and not just the w209 and I also tried looking manually at w209 thread and cannot find it still.
btw salty... your wheels looks good... are you going to keep the lip like that? I always like it when you can show off your big front brakes and calipers..

When you are in the 209 forum, on the top right hand corner by the page indicators you will see "search this forum" that will let you search ONLY the 209 forum.

Yea, it is a bit pricey but it matches the car perfectly!

I was thinking of buying a good camera to take random pics as well.. but since apple announced the release of iphone4 with 5mp+flasch camera....
I think I will just wait for it for a couple of days... hehe
BTW your foglights looks great and it matches the headlight as well.

BTW I forgot to ask.. did you remove the wiring for the sidemarkers or you reconnected them? how do they look like when lit up? are they still amber?

I put some black electrical tape over them. At first I left them like that and there was a little amber glow through the paint. I should have some pics somewhere...I will get back to you

Painting it yourself is very practical if you know what you are doing...
You need to do necessary preps to do the painting and it might not even look close to your car paint. The sidemarkers are made up of plastic and not fiberglass (which is easier to do prep paint work).

i would suggest having a body shop paint them and color match. it should look just as good. unless you want to keep your old ones or something.
one of mine has a crack in it, so i opted for a new set BEFORE coin put up his thread.
