You have to upload it to youtube or another host. I don't think Mbworld hosts vids.

Alright so there is no droning from the resonator delete, no power gains, and feels more responsive, but is there any power loss?...and loss in low end/ high end torque?...or do you feel it "pulls" better?

Bump...

Cause I'm getting my resonator done tomorrow and don't want any power loss/ torque loss...so anyone experience any sort of power loss just deleting the resonator whether it's low end torque or high end torque or just power in general?

Thanks...

You might feel it a bit sluggish at first, but once the ECU adapts it will go back.

my friend did a resonator deleted on his FX35, and the difference was very noticeable, the new sound was amazing. Im surprised this mod doesnt make much of a difference on our CLK. Im thinking of doing it today though, hoping that there would be an actual difference in sound.

That's because the FX35's (and the G35's) were already designed to have a sweet exhaust note. Removing the resonators just simply unleashes the potential. The difference with our CLK's is that they were designed to be quiet.

Deleting the resonator should not add/free up any power whatsoever nor cause any power loss/sluggish feeling to the car. The reason being that the resonator is a straight though design, it does not impede or restrict flow, its only purpose is to mellow the sound out. Because you are not removing an air restrictive device, the ECU will not have to adapt, you're just going to get a meatier tone to the exhaust.

The secondary cats and muffler are different stories because removing them removes restriction, there will be an increase in power (due to an increase in efficiency but raising the A/F ratio) and a short ECU adapt time.
