Hi Guys,
Any of you interested in a Group Buy for the C63 Style Carbon Fiber Side Bumper Vents made for our CLK's? I asked Mark at MCD Motorsports and he has agreed to make them, as long as we get 10 people. The price for each unit will be around $300.

Why is the C63 version is selling for around $230-240 and they want $300 for our car?

No idea. Maybe cause its being custom made. But will the C63 ones fit our cars. I seen one on the bay that will fit the W204 classic bumpers and the AMG bumper. I wonder if that will fit.

Awhile back, I asked the seller if I can buy and try to see if it would fit on the Clk AMG bumper with the condition that he would allow me to return it if it not fit. I offered to pay for the shipping both way if I return it but he said no. That was a bad business decision because it would benefit him more if thing works out.

I'm guessing you'd have to cut a hole in your lower valence under the marker light and pop this in the hole with some 3m tape?
Will it actually have the functionality of cooling front brakes or just be for looks?

I'm somewhat interested, but I do have two issues.
1. How is this going to installed (location and fastener type)?
2. We can never get a successful group buy going (especially 10 people).

Seriously, I dont think it will looks good on our CLK with the AMG bumper unless you have like CLK63 bumper or the BS maybe ? How about a photoshop with that piece on our bumper ? wish I know how...
