Talking stopping dvd fade out on command

before another moderator closes my thread again - yes i have searched the forum and i have also searched other forums but i cannot find anything to do with this!

does anyone know if there is a way of stopping the dvd fading out on command if you go above 6km/h - because im guessing theres got to be a cable telling it that info so you could just cut it and tape it right?

i know that this will make it illegal but oh well also has anyone else tried this?

You just don't get it, do you...

Yes, there is a way to do it. No, you don't have the equipment to do it with, the dealership doesn't have the equipment to do it with and you won't find it from someone selling it, so please, stop asking.

Are you wishing he would fade out as well with that comment?

Wishing he would fade out? No. He may yet prove to be a contributing member of MBW... though, I doubt it. First post, he starts with a question.

Wishing he'd learn how to fold his ears just right in order to get over his cranial rectal immersion syndrome and realize that posting the same question all over again is pointless? Yes.

i am sorry but i dont see the problem with him asking a question like that. he did say he attempted to search the forum.

most of the ppl here come to find answers with their problems. in that they may find answers that others are asking as well. its his second post and hes a newbie. newbies will always be newbies. so why flame him for it.

If he had actually searched, we both know that he would have come up with an answer either way.

I mean, come on! There are tons of threads on enabling DVd in motion. the can do's and can't do's.

that is probably true. i didnt do the search myself. however, he is still a new kid on the forum. takes them a couple of times to learn the ropes and get the answers. everyone starts somewhere.

to the OP there is a lot of info on this forum.

We were all once new to forums. But common sense generally prevailed and we looked around a bit before asking questions. There is a good chance that if someone has an issue or a problem, they're not the first to talk about it on a forum.

Either way... hopefully he'll know better next time...?

I think I had the InterwebZ jokes and sarcasm filter set a little too high on the firewall.

I've dialed the filter down a bit, hopefully it will work better.

dont take your anger out on forum members because your wife wont bang you.

be nice to the kid, believe it or not sometimes there is alot of conflicitng information on forums and a lot of time just a hard to navigate because idiots like you take more time getting angry than answering the question.

No, shoe won't. She found out yours gave me the clap when I was banging her.

be nice to the kid,
Be nice to the "kid"? First off, how do you know he's a kid, again?

Even if he is a kid, I don't have to be nice to anyone. whether you tell me to be nice or not. You see, it's really simple. I don't take etiquette lessons from some jerkoff on the internet who tells me to "be nice". Sorry.

believe it or not sometimes there is alot of conflicitng information on forums and a lot of time just a hard to navigate because idiots like you take more time getting angry than answering the question.
It's hard to navigate all the conflicting information because of "idiots like" me? Seriously? So, basically, what you're saying is that you can't navigate (aka search) a forum because of someone like me? Boy, those 4 brain cells you got going there must be working overtime, what with trying to regulate your breathing and trying to decide if someone (like me) is angry or just stating fact.

Why should I (since I can't speak for everyone here) answer "your" question when the question has been answered enough times, it sickens people? Are you too dim to search? Oh wait... we've already established you're running on only four brain cells. I guess you are too dim. Such a shame...

Do yourself a favor: Grow a brain. It will come in handy in the future. Possibly even the near future.

We are not here to cater to your demands for answers. If you're too damned lazy to search first, then (at least I), we are too damned lazy to regurgitate the same thing over and over. This isn't Google. This is a community of people that share a love for Mercedes Benz Automobiles. How long do you think you'd last in real life if you were to ask the same question of your friends (if you have any)?

If you want to argue, you should bump the CLK550 Vs M3 thread and duke it out with the M3 guys.

Look, I won't just jump into an argument for the hell of it. I'll only "argue" if someone else starts it first and it's directed at me and on occasion what I believe in. Case and point, the Salty thread. He didn't single me out, but damn it, I tried to educate him on how wrong he was.

Other than that... I'm not that big of a jerk.
