molding on rear/front bumpers aren't removable are they?

molding on rear/front bumpers aren't removable are they?
the moldings on the side are removable, but from what i'm seeing, the rear/front moldings are part of the actual bumper? the chrome part is removable though.

...what does it mean if they're not removable? the molding on my front doesn't come off at all, as if it's part of the bumper.

When I bought my AMG front bumper it came with the molding minus the chrome trim. I looked like they weren't removable...

They're impact strips, they're meant to be replaceable. I know they were replaceable on the W203, because I had euro impact strips, but I guess it could be possible that the ones on the W209 are not replaceable. I still think that they are, though.

On the older year W209 AMG bumper impact strips is removable. Some people would removed it and replaced with the euro impact that deleted the yellow lens. The post-2006 (like mine) AMG bumper impact strips are not removable but the chrome strip can be remove.

I'm sorry to tell u bro .. but only the chrome strips can be removed...
I have an 04 320 with stock bumper and I can't remove them

however the strips of the c-class w203 can be removed

+1. Only the chrome strip (3 pieces btw) are removable. I was hoping they would be removable because I am thinking of adding aftermarket backup sensors on them. Now I am not sure.

The old W211's front strips are removable too.
