I would debadge and paint the star black. I know you wanna keep the 550 on so maybe make the CLK and the star black and the 550 will stand out more.

Completely blacked out tail lights look great on a black car. But if I ever rear-end such a car, I will be laughing my way all the way to the bank.

Man, those look like covers BadBlack! Smoked tails look nice on a silver car but black on black is always really eye-catching. That must be a film is it?

a bit too much for my taste... I see that style a lot on mustangs and i find it too "oakland raiders"-ish if you will. I think it'd be just right if you still could make out some of the red... try taking another shot when sunlight hits it directly...i think it would be just right at that level, but if you like it, thats really all that matters

Nice, but too dark for my taste. I always wanted to debadge the 350 part and leave the CLK so I can be as awesome as the 500s and 550s

hahah just cuz you debage doesnt mean you have a bigger engine. Any mercedes owner with basic knowledge can tell a CLK350 VS 500 or C240 VS 55 and so on.
I am not gonna lie though i did debage mine but not to make people think i have a faster car i just like the clean symetric look and have done it in every car i have owned
So unless you have a complete mood like Dyno here it would easy to be spotted lol
