Hi all. Do you guys know if the part 2098201664 ( tail light) is the red/white color or if it is red/smoked( amg style)?

For 2005-7 cars, you can use A 209 870 2089 (has "SERV" button)

For 2008-9 cars you can use A 209 820 7889 ( has "SYS" button, I have one for sale in Classifieds)

There are additional part numbers but these two I have held in my hand and used in a 2005 CLK. The later model with "SYS" button does not allow you to set time when installed in a 2005-7 car.

I do not know what happens when older model is used in newer car.

On the "SERV" system, you access the "ENGINEERING MODE" by hitting "OK", then "7" then "MUTE". I was unable to find a way to access it in "SYS" model. If someone knows, please PM me and I will add to this post.

Also note, when I first installed the 2008 model in my 2005 I had sound function but no instrument panel integration until coded. When I installed the proper 2005-7 "SERV" model I gained proper clock support but because the unit had been used in a vehicle with different MOST setup, resulting in silence until I used STAR to reset MOST bus. I wish I had tried the "RESET" button on COmand but I don't think it would have solved issue. So, if you do a retrofit, you may or may not have working audio. May very well require STAR system.

Try that link. Part number 165 is for a CLK63. You could also find the part on Pelican parts.Alternatively visit this site http://www.autopartswarehouse.com and look your car up. You should find it. They are quite cheap there but availability is the issue.

Did the full replacement of hydraulic cylinders on my mom's 05 CLK320 cab recently, here are a couple of PNs I had a tough-ish time tracking down.

Clips for the hinge pins - 0009944160, they're listed as automatic transmission clips, but can confirm they're the same.

Cover for the emergency latch lock/unlock bolt for the roof - 1709880035XXXX, where the Xs will be a color code. If you search one of those OEM parts websites for the core number without the Xs you should get a list of the colors with their specific PNs. Mine was 17098800357E94 (grey).

Hello!

Does anyone have the part number for the 2006 CLK350 Soft Top Manual Override Wrench?
Local Dealer says 129.581.0066 (Expensive!!!), but the MB Parts web site says that it is not for 2006 (says 1990-2002). Do I really need this part or will a regular 6mm Allen wrench and an open wrench (What size?) will do?

I think it may be just a 6mm Hex Allen Wrench on one side, but do not know what size the either open-wrens is or whether is it straight or curved (there seem to be at least two different shapes).
