I'm thinking about buying these wheels and getting this look (and them maybe get it blacked out, all except the wheels)

I like the general look, but I'm not sure because they aren't OEM wheels (they are rondell 85). On the other hand, the original ones (AMG IV 2 pc. I think) aren't so deep dished (look at these 10'' rear wheels!)

What do you think?

Thanks

It's a nice looking wheel on the CLK, not aggressive but noticable. I'm a big fan of black wheels so you have my vote on the color at least

I like the newer AMG wheels, those are an older style and may date the car a little.

I was thinking the same thing about yours. Mine are 18" C63 replicas (needed correct offset). I could use a drop but I doubt I do it.

Mine are 19" AMG, came that way here in Dubai, I'm changing them out though to a black face/chrome dish turbine style. I was looking at getting a set exactly like yours and having the gun metal repainted black, but like yours I could only find 18" here and no replicas, aka, big time $$$.

I like those wheels a lot, very classic W209 style. I would not paint them black, I like them in the silver.

I would go for those rims. They look alot like the OEM rims that were on the mid 2000's AMG models and 2007-2009 CLK550s. Dont paint them black. I wouldnt black out the tailights either, but it's your strictly your decision. (Personally, i just feel it really detracts from the car's classy style and makes the car look more ghetto).

Another thing i would look into would maybe be an AMG body kit? I noticed the car in the pic had AMG-inspired rims but kept the boring standard fenders from the base CLk350.

Fenders? They are the same AMG or not.
