NEED HELP !! CLK W209 63 AMG BUMPER

Hi Everyone,

Im new to this forum and i have some questions for you guys..
I recently bought a CLK 63 AMG Bumper for my 2006 CLK 220 CDI.
But the problems is the bumper doesnt have foglights and left, right grills and center grill..
Basically i have only the bumper with nothing one it..

Do you guys know the part numbers for the foglights and grills?

I have a friend that works for mercedes and he thought it would be this part number for the foglights : A 230 820 03 56, is he right?

Notice its a CLK 63 AMG with the sidevents not the CLK 55 AMG.

Kind Regards MD

I bought that ebay bumper off of a fellow forum member. the fitment is decent and the advantage to the bumper is that it comes with fake moldings so its one less part you have to buy & it looks pretty damn good. The cons to the bumper that i've noticed are: 1.) its made from fiberglass and is less flexible then the plastics used by the oem mfg 2.) the mounting points did NOT line up 100% (I've got two mounting points in the fron, more specifically, the small rectangular holes you see in the two lower legs that form the main lower grille, do not mount directly onto the OEm mounting points.) I can take a couple pictures in the day light if you guys want to check it out.... 3.) it bends more easily at higher speeds so my paint is cracking in a spider-web formation right below the headlights...not sure if this is an issue with the paint job or the bumper. hope that helped.

No its not that bumper, yeah its has the exact same look. But i didnt buy it from ebay. Its a factory OEM mercedes 63 amg bumper.. I bought it from a guy in rotterdam (holland). for 300 euro's..

But the fogs and the rest are missing..

Here is the info using the VIN you provided. When I did my AMG bumper conversion I needed more than the front grilles and the fogs. I also needed the frame of the bumper which is where the fogs are installed and the clips to hold the grilles. In your case you might also need the side markers. If you need the impact absorbers let me know.

I checked a thread that you posted wit all the part n's# fpr a clk 209.
And there part numbers are different from the one you looked up trough that VIN a gave you.. Do you know any idea why? And can it be a problem?

As you can see :

  2. LFT GRILLE 2098850353
  3. RT GRILLE 2098850453
And the one you gave me are these :

CENTER GRILLE 2098850653
LFT GRILLE 2098850753
RT GRILLE 2098850853

You should use the ones I gave you in the pictures above. The other part #'s you saw on the thread are for 06-09 AMG Front Bumper. That is a different bumper.
  • 06-09 AMG FRONT BUMPER GRILLES
  1. CENTER GRILLE 2098850553
  2. LFT GRILLE 2098850353
  3. RT GRILLE 2098850453
  4. CLIPS FOR GRILLES 0039947945

These will not fit your bumper.

Hey Guys,

I got some pics on the progress, the bumper fits perfect. But its an OEM so its normal .
The grills right and left where different. 1 had holes and the other had no holes its was all plastic very weird. I brought them back, there gonna check it out..
Tell me what you think of it... Is it nice???
