lol, that sucks....You should be in the W208 section not W209, but I will try to help. Can you explain how you're trying to open it from the inside? The button on the door? The W209 has a green button in the trunk that allows you to open it from the inside.

happened to me once, my guess is you got the doors open with a hanger/jimmy etc.. so the alarm system probably went off on you which you then proceded to disconnecting the battery ? am I right so far?

I am not trying to sound like a smart a$$ its simply what I had to do.. honestly your best bet is to call mercedes they might know a way in the trunk... the rep literally explained how to get my keys with a hanger LMAO

theres a little *** in the front next to the gear stick and its the trunk opener.
you pull it up, and the trunk usually opens.

2nd button from the left

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
If you have one

of the tow disable buttons on the dash like some models try pressing it and then the trunk button right after.
New key will run you about $230

Its nice to have a spare key. Cough up the money and get one from the dealer. They will just need your vin, license and proof of ownership and they can make you one. It would be alot cheaper if they can just make you the key blade inside the remote without purchasing a remote but Im not sure they will make it by itself. It wouldnt hurt to ask

i forget if the 208 guys had the green lit button in the back. you can try getting a stick or metal bar and pushing it.
