However, I am very much looking forward to some great step by step pics of your diffuser install (other posts on this topic were also good but it's great to have a variety of different views) and exhaust conversion.
When you get everything is when the fun begins. I could imagine how many things you get to open. It will be like Christmas morning.

dont you think the middle fins should have vents like the real BS diff? so that it wont vacuum some air... when u are going fast???

I saw fattony's diff.. and those foam will not really help much... it will still vacuum air... and may fly the diff away or behind! LOL
Well he has had his diffuser installed for a year and I haven't heard of any problems. I will be going talking about it with my installer next week and keep you posted.

How much lower than the bumper does the diffuser sit? I am worried because I back into parking spots because of the Cf lip and don't want to end up hitting the diffuser.

I see.. well... I dont have AMG tips yet.. and a bit tight on budget.. i will have to hide my dif for now.. I will wait for dynos pics and steps... maybe I can install the diff myself and let the shop do the exhaust...

I just want to confirm that fattony's diff is only using glue right? super duper glue? lol.. no drilling? I still wish the diff have same sort of vents in the center fin just like the REAL BS DIFF...

personally I like the silver... you saw my Ft setup painted silver. But red stands out more... Looks like you are going full bore on the mods.. so I think either will be fine. do what you like

It may look nice but I think you guys are crazy putting a 4 piston on the front and rear. In your case, I think your Clk 350 only have a single piston slide caliper in the front and you're going to put the AMG 4 piston in the rear? Just remember, if you ever need to brake hard at high speed, your rear will lock up first before the front and you'll be doing 360 spin, I gaurantee !!

It definately is some serious braking power but I'm wondering about the spin, ABS/ETC is pretty darn good on these cars in keeping them going straight. I've never upgraded brakes on a MB before so I can't say anything for sure other than I'm interested in getting some feedback from Wes after they're done. His front brakes are upgraded as well so it just may bring a fair balance into this disscussion.

Wes, after the break in, would you mind finding an open road and doing some testing for us? Just the usual stuff, 30-0, 60-0, 100-0. It's your car and your brakes so if you don't want to do so, no worries, just think it is good info for future upgrade questions.

Great! I'll get my GTech Pro RR (awesome little measuring tool) out and get some results of my stock brakes(distance/time) as well, then again after I install the R1's and Akees (yes I bought more stuff).

I'm not going to say anything more until I get everything here & post a pic.

I'm going to start getting called out on my outlandish mod plans/claims (considering that my car is still bone stock...)

Well, this is the internet you know...

Anyways, I have to go hop my private jet to Mumbai, I've got a filthy night lined up with a bunch of Bollywood starlettes, then I have to do my weekley vault count to make sure my billions in gold isn't collecting dust, my collection of exotic cars are getting their weekly oil changes and that my underground private nuclear reactor is keeping the 62 air conditioning systems in my 200,000sq/ft house running.

Bye!
