Brake Job Recommendations - Bay Area

Hi, I posted this in the Wheel Tire & Brake forum and got no replies....

Any recommendations on good indy shops in SF Bay Area (close to SF preferably) that can do the front brakes on a 209?

TIA for any input.

Bill

Thank you very much for the offer - under normal circumstances I would do that. But I am short on time....

Don't know anyplace in the City, but Sonic Motorsports in Mountain View would hook you up, or Marin Autoworks in Mill valley < That's where I take my car.

I'm going to try Collie Autoworks in San Rafael. Their prices as quoted are better than the dealer, and I am going to get the trans serviced as well (drain/replace fluid, new filter+pan gasket). I will update everyone on how it goes.

Thanks for all of the help here...

The experience went well with Collie Autoworks - brakes are great and the trans service was beneficial. They answered a ton of questions about other services that I will need done as the miles pile on my 209.

I've gotta figure out who will do the springs/shocks when I get around to it, as that looks like some spendy labor. Labor quote for the spark plugs was a lot - but figure I can do those myself even if there are 12 of 'em! Anyone change their own plugs on a V6? Seems pretty straightforward, if tedious.

Thanks again to everyone for all of their tips and suggestions.
