hey bro, i think if they are two guys in the IS and you alone, with your torque you should keep it goin with him... try a raod going up, the torque should help...

Off the line it'll be close, but like everyone else mentioned as you climb up in speed you will pull. I used to own 2 350Zs, a 2003 and a 2006. Stock they had very similar times to that IS350 and running a few with some bolt ons on my Z I would put about 3-4 car lengths on them. Off the line the Z feels close to the CLK, but the CLK definitely pulls stronger as they run out of steam sooner.

I think an '05 has lost a few ponies over time (6 yrs old). It also depends on how good the driver is. It will be close but I think the Lexus will win.
