Sorry for too many questions at once .

Yea, you have to order 2. I could check for you through the EPC if you want to PM me your VIN.

Not sure if I'm too late here, but I'll throw it out anyways. Years ago I was in the same dilemma and ended up going with the H&R's. I found that these were too low for my own preference and would rather have had the Eibach's. Initially, I wanted something that would leave a slight(about 1 to 2 fingers) gap between the rear tires and the fenders. However, the H&R's brought the fenders down to where it slightly covered the top of the tire (less than a finger). The fronts sat fine, but it was just the rears that were too low for me. I should have some pictures of the car here if you do a search. If not, I'll try to dig up a couple.

As for the ride, it was really firm. To the point where you could really feel everything on the road. But on the flip side, it improved the handling drastically and made the car much more fun to drive.

And just in case, I took them off last year and they have been sitting in my garage if you are interested in a used set. I'll let it go for real cheap as I just want to get rid of it.

FYI the springs were on my CLK500 with 19" HRE's

You could've switch the spring pads to raise the rear a bit and even it out.

Do we get the spring pads through the dealership or is there anywhere else to get them? Regardless I think I will go with the 4 pad because I don't want too much rear sag. Tmans you made my decision even tougher. I really want the looks of the springs but don't want to lose the ride quality of the Benz. My commute has shortened drastically so I feel like I can put up with it. Does anyone know if with h and r and a #4 pad if it will still cover up some tire in the rear with 19's

You could get the pads through parts.com also. I have some pictures on H&Rs, #1/#2 pads, and 19's if you want to get a general idea.

So I got it done! I didnt want a saggy look but did want a good drop. I got the H&Rs for the CLK 500/550 (theres another one just for the 500 that has less of a drop) and put #4 pads in the rear that I picked up for 15 bucks. I love it! exactly what I was hoping for. Once it settles down a little more I think it will be perfect. I as really impressed with the ride quality. It was what I was most concerned about and I drove from LA back to OC with no complaints on LAs crappy roads and freeways. I know everyone has their preferences on a bunch of different setups but I really like this one. Thank you to everyone for all of their input, I wouldnt have thought of the spring pads if it wasnt for you guys.

That kit is for the cab. Glad you're happy wth the setup. Question for you - what pads did you have in there from factory? #3's? I am going to be doing the exact same drop, H&R's on #4's.

Yeah I'll try and get some pics up. It's raining where I'm at so once it stops I will. I thought it was a 3 and have to check them out because they seem thin. I'll let you know when I look at them
