6,000!
Hello all. I wanted to start this thread as my 6000th post and give you guys a face to put with the name. Here is a pic I recently took with my two favorite girls celebrating my 6000th post.

It landed pal! Landed much smoother than the 'smaller brake lines' -"joke"- by your buddy a few months back... That one still makes me shake my head.

yeah i thought about it
but dude i had a bad experience with plasti dipping my antenna over the weekend...when i went to remove the tape from the side to prevent overspray...the plastidip forms a rubber film and i can't rip it off flush with the antenna...i think i may need a razor and cut the edges...my antenna remains white right now...i'll give it another try next time....

I'll be listening to it online but not watching, the two TV providers here dropped Sprint Cup (yet show Nationwide & Truck series) races a few years ago. Kev had a career year (been a fan of his since 2002), a championship would be incredible but at 46 points back I don't think it'll happen. Under the old system he was ready to take the crown 10 races ago (almost a 300 point lead!).

Yep, fantasic end to the year and at last - a GREAT chase! When Kev pulled out of the pits in 1st and leading the points I was going nuts, then a speeding penalty put him back to 29th... Unbelievable that he cam back to finish 3rd. The race ended at 2:30am then I listened to the Stamps game didn't get to sleep until 7am for a quick nap & had a flight to Kuwait this morning too.
What about JJ though? 5 in a row? Absolutely amazing, nothing short of incredible.
Looking forward to Daytona in February, GO #29!

I was definitely one of the most memorable chases, one for the books. A taste of what they had in mind when switching to the new points system.
The past few years I have heard people say "Even I could win if I was in the 48". You can't take anything away from JJ and his (substitute) crew this year, it was obvious they didn't have the fastest car.

100% percent right, not the fastest car over the 10 race chase but by far the best car manager (Chad K), changing up the pit crew was a championship defining move. He was the ice-man in FL, did what he had to do and nothing else. Mind you, Denny bit the big one, spun out on his own and ruined his day. What a year for Kev though - 26, count 'em 26 top 10 finishes in 36 races - no one else was close.
I for one like the Chase format, every sport should have a play-off. Otherwise you're just a bunch of soccer playing sissys...
