I think it mainly override and unblock codes that allow you to play movie DVD on the NAV. As for the TV, I think you will need other module equiptment to get TV signal.

Ah, so this is what a guy needs to play DVD's on the NAV system eh? I was looking for something like this here in the Middle East but to no surprise - nothing...

It only play the NAV DVD due to the codes because it agaisnt the law in the US. DVD player has to be behind the driver. European models NAV i believe does not have these restrictions.

Oh and regarding about low can bus.... just the data connection between older model vs new. Older model uses low speed bus and newer model has high speed can bus... just a different data bus system.
