Ah, so this is what a guy needs to play DVD's on the NAV system eh? I was looking for something like this here in the Middle East but to no surprise - nothing...

It only play the NAV DVD due to the codes because it agaisnt the law in the US. DVD player has to be behind the driver. European models NAV i believe does not have these restrictions.

Sorry about that!! It's was actually my fault for not putting the right link. I'm working on fixing all the bad link I put through out the forum.

Oh and regarding about low can bus.... just the data connection between older model vs new. Older model uses low speed bus and newer model has high speed can bus... just a different data bus system.

so just to be sure this is what i need in my clk500 2005 to convert the dvd nav drive into a dvd movie playing device? also i gotta swap this with my 6disk changer right as the car only has one optical connector?
