Hey guys i have a clk500 2005 and was wondering if getting a diablosport preadotor and flashing my ECU with the OBD2 port would actually work on my w209? because on their site it doenst list any MB's so was wondering if getting this would actually work in giving me more HP? any risks involved? thanks for the help !

This is the first I hear of it. I would recommend going with more reputable companies like Speedtuning USA, OEtuning, and Powerchip. There are a few big names also, but they cost quite a bit more.

i herd of diablosport from MSNBC it was on the news a friend showed me it. and yeah i agree thanks i'll look into the other ones but want something i can do at home instead of sending out the ECU or soldering something onto it. Diablo is a plug and play type thing. but thanks

Give a call to Oliver over at Speedtuning. They have a programmer that they could send you , for a deposit, and he could walk you through the tune. I used this option as I couldn't afford the down time.

No, it will not work.

I managed a speedshop/custom fabricator/tuner shop in Canada that was the national distributor for Diablo, although they make some serious power on some of the truck applications, there are no flashes available for Mercedes. Look at Speedtuning or OE tuning.

There are no 'chips' for our cars - it's an ECU flash.

Correct, nothing needs to be soldered. It's a programmer that you plug into the OBD2 port and it flashes your ECU.
