Just got another update, system is now fired up and being tuned, I guess it's a real thumper 
I'm a SQ (sound quality) guy so massive bass insint a big deal to me but you always want to have more than you need so you can de-tune.
Still hoping to get over there tonight to have a look at it, hopefully the interior is going in now too. One thing I can tell you guys with 100% certainty - I will be doing the system in my Hummer myself!!!

Never went and saw the car yesterday, I guess as soon as the clown got the system fired up and tuned he pulled his disappearing act again - none of the interior made it back in. This guy is something else ain't he? He just refuses to get this project done. He told the shop owner he would come in on Friday for interior, we'll see

Surprise surprise, the SOB lied yet again, he never came in on Friday, interior still isn't in. Also was told the PAC steering wheel controls have yet to be programmed either - watch this turn into another week of waiting...

I heard/ RED/ expierienced in the car-enthusiast comunity alot, ALOT of horror stories when it came to leaving cars for overhauling at shops...just be carefull man.

particularly if they go bust... OR if they are involve in chop-shop practices.. your car become police evidence... tied up in courts for months..... there seem to be alot of flakes in this business.

The shop it's at is totally legit, the installer clown is working freelance for them (former West Coast Customs installer). He's back working on it today. Absolutely no chance of getting lawyers or police involved here - it doesn't work like that in the Middle East.
I'm in Qatar and Kuwait for the week, trying to keep my mind off of it.

It's going to be an interesting meeting when this is all said and done and he comes to collect his money. He said 7 to 10 days, its been over 120 now
On that note, he was in the shop working on it all day, so by my assesment last time I looked he should (in human standard theory) have one day of work left (assuming he put in two 6 hour days and all went well).

I'd say this guy is lucky the red mist hasn't taken over. It should never be acceptable to go back on your word so badly as this, but to know the guy you're pissing off is spending so much time going through airport security. I would not want someone standing in line at airports all over the world, thinking about how I'm screwing up. No way. No how.

Just getting ready to board another flight and I got an update. The good news, most of the interior is back in. The bad news, it's bloody FILTHY;
I'll be deducting the cost of detailing off the amount "owed". Actually starting to look like he's going to finish this project, when is anyone's guess though.
