Thanks. Yes, I took quite a few pictures of the installation from several different angles, I'll post up some pictures in a few weeks (have to pick the ones I like then have them cleaned up to print grade, I'm horrible at post-editing), I'm out of the country now.

Got a few hours in at the shop on Saturday and added a few more goodies. With the Kleemann kit I got a new E55K airbox/engine cover, I figured that I would do a little modifying to it. Ended up adding a bunch of material to the front cover then shaping it to contour around the hoses, giving it a "from the factory" look. Then, sanded it down smooth, painted it body color, gave it the 6600 clear coat, wet sanded it then polished it.

It turned out stellar, flawless, the guys did a kick *** job on this project. When I get the DSLR pics up you'll be able to see that there is zero texture or orange peel in the paint. I just wanted something to heavily contrast when the hood is opened at shows, this should do it.

Time to dust off this thread, I've got some more goodies showing up in a few weeks (plus customs clearance time of course) then a whole new project will begin. To those that have asked for more pics and videos, I will get some put together in the next few weeks and post them. Hard to believe but yesterday was the first time I've driven the CLK to work in about 3 months - I'm just never here anymore. Such easy cars to fall in love with all over again

Thanks Andy, it is spotless under the hood, I'll post up better pics one of these days. I'd you want the license plate, simple, move to Dubai, bring the car and register it - you get the plate for free As for the license plate bracket, it's the OEM Euro plate holder, I just had it sanded down, painted body color and clear coated. I think it looks far cleaner than a black piece of plastic.

This will be last major mod project, maybe a few minor ones afterwards but that'll be it. Hopefully my stuff arrives soon so I can let you guys in on what I've got cooking.
