CLK320 manual shifting

Hi guys, i have a problem in shifting my transmission from D to the manual (-/+) .everytime i try to do that, the D wont change to the manual mode. Any suggestions or help?

tell me how did you shift it ? Did u hold the shiftknob and push it to the left ? and jsut for you to know it will takes like 2 or 3 seconds to get it in the gear not like the real manual tranny.

I just directly shift it to the left for like 1 sec and it will bounce back to the D, but nothing happen

yea but at what speed ? have you tried to reset your ECU ? not sure it will help but it wont hurt to try.

mm, what do you mean at what speed? Do you mean the car speed when im shifting the gear? It doesnt really matter right? nope, i bought this car used and havent tried anything yet. can you tell me how to reset the ECU?

FYI in W it will not go in to 1ST untill u hold it hold like 4sec

Do you mean C or S? ive tried both, but the results is the same. so hold the gear to the (+/-) for 4 sec?
for now my car is still in the bodyshop, i will try to hold it later on after i take my car back

That's probably your best bet. If you could find an Indy shop, it would save you money over the dealer.
