Mikata's spring mods
I don't have any more pics of the installation. I thought I'd taken like hundreds of pics but I guess not

I tried to upload the pics here on mbworld but since the crappy fuction never works(yes mbworld admins I have the correct criteria for the pics im trying to upload)

The setup is 2½ way. The front 2way system run as a normal 2 way, and the extra woofer run to app. 200Hz to give the extra punch.
Sound differance :-)
OH YES! There is night and day, the 4 Helix woofers punch more bas than the stock woofer in the rear parcel shelf, ane the tonality is not only more rich and compleate, but also much more stable at any sound level.
This was one major upgrade to the car!
The audio is crisp and has alot of depth. The bass is insane and I haven't changed the woofers in the back yet.
I can crank up the volume without worrying if i'm going to blow the speakers or not(I was woried about that with the stock speakers).
Thinking of getting this as well, just to tweak the sound/speakers to perfection:

What do you think Kev? Should I go for the amp?
I'm already pleased with the sound quality so far

All I can say is that the sound is way better and has more depth.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

If I ever get all my bloody pending projects done I'd love to do another sound system but I'm getting a little old for that now I guess.
Thanks for the advice mate! I'm getting the amp! That Kleeman SC is way more interesting than a new sound system for your car

The exhaust shop are the ones that will cut the bumper, so fingers crossed they won't mess up the bumper. There aren't any body shops near me that could cut the bumper for me.
I was going to tell them to F off since I had taken time of from work to get this done, but since it's the only shop in my area that will do this work I had to reschedule a new time and give them an angry look. Til wednesday!!

Seriously though, waiting is the name of the game on this 209 board it seems
But I did get angry inside though
I've been really stressed lately and just have this thrown in my face on top of everything else I have to do is not good.
Hehe you are right, waiting is the name of the game on this board.
I was out stressing yesterday to buy all the hardware(pipes and stuff) and today my mechanic says "I'm sorry but you'll have to come back next week".
Oh well, til wednesday!

I'm also removing the resonator to get a little umph in her(sound)
It has an unbelievable drone from 2000rpm and up and I didn't change muffler or delete the resonator. At 70mph It sounds like a subaru wrx with a rocket muffler... Will post pics of the setup tomorrow.

It sounds like a pimped out civic.
The tips do stick out little bit more than OEM setup but that's the way I wanted them.
The right side isn't 100% alligned up yet. That's the hard part but I'll get it done...
