Thanks man.
I know how you feel, wait it will be installed soon so you can look at it on the car.

And leave it debadged for sure. If you had an AMG, then i would say leave it there.

I Will leave it debadged before I bought the 320 I was planning on buying the 55 amg but all the cars were imported from Germany and had a lot of miles on them. You know what they say about imported cars from Germany...? Funny thing is my 320 cost 3-4000 euros more.

Just got home from the shop, here are a few pics, one thing that bothers me is the exhaust tips, they are placed more to the right. Somehow I find them to be too small? It's an OEM AMG 55 exhaust but the tips seems small somehow? Even though I'm going quad in a year the tips still need to look good now.

The bracket for the amg front bumper didn't fit so I have to order new one from the dealership. Since they don't have the part in stock they have to order it from germany and the holidays coming up, I think I'll have the part on wednesday or thursday next week...

What do you guys think? keep in mind it's still in progress and there's alot to be done (side skirts, amg paddle steering wheel, comand 2.0, and more..)
All in all it's does look better than the pictures portray.

The rear bumper looks great. I agree on the tips being too small. Kind of look like C-class tips.

It's really strange, my guess is that the previous owner had some big as* tips or the AMG exhaust tips are just too small? Beats me
I'll go back next week for adjustment.

I'ts strange cause the exhaust is for CLK 55 AMG, it came with OEM certificate(from factory) and everything. Do any of you know the measurements for amg tips? I'll measure them next week.

Only the ML tips are sold individually and available through parts.com, not the CLK tips. All the CLK tips come with the muffler and cost about $1500. They are the same dimensions though.

BTW: How does the car sound? Did it change at all when you added that muffler?

Are the ML tips the same size as the CLK 550, 55 and 63? How much are those?
Sound was almost the same, cold start it sounded little bit deeper.
Little bit of increase, thinking of deleting the resonator but my mechanic said it couldn't be done. Maybe we just misunderstood eachother

Yea, it could definitely be done. On my old exhaust setup I had to use one of the ML tips and it looks exactly the same as the other ones. Parts.com has them for $150 each.

Looks great mikata about the tips, they look small to me as well, but when you are saying that they should be for clk55, i think they could be w208 tips or not?
