Since you are in Europe, you can consider FOX tips from germany as a cheaper option. They look great, kevwood has used them for his quad exhaust.

You're right, I forgot about those. Can I find them on eBay or do you have a link?
I'll check them out, but I'm trying to keep everything OEM.

Here you go, check them out. For that price, they are a great deal comparing to OEM. Its a great option.

Thanks! Are those the same size as amg tips or little bit bigger? Will they fit my bumper?

OEM is cca 120x80, these are 115 x 85mm, so like ahmad said, the are more round shape, but look almos like OEM. I like them, find Kevwoods thread, hes got a picuture of them installed.

I have given it some thought and I'm going with AMG tips!
Thanks for looking out!
When I saw the exhaust/tips yesterday even thought the tips we're smaller they looked fine as hel* with the AMG logo
So I'm going with AMG tips
I ordered the bracket today and the dealership told me that it will be here on tuesday. So hopefully the car is all done on tuesday.

Just picked up the car.
The seller that I bought the amg side skirts from had sent me two left ones. I didn't notice that when I recieved them because I only checked that they weren't damaged and then threw them in a storage room. Since I bought the side skirts in december/jan I probably can't return one but I have emailed him and asked.

I will have to buy a new right side skirt, paint it and take it to the shop again.....
I'm missing some chrome on the left/right side of the bumper(whichever you want to call it).

Sorry for the bad pic quality(taken from my phone at 23.00 at night)
Will post new ones tomorrow. I also installed the paddleshift steering wheel and AMG gearknob.

I'll leave some feedback regarding retro fitting face-lift AMG package since this wasn't an easy task.

Thanks Wes! Sadly no, I talked to different dealership, some didn't even want to give me a qoute for the job and some gave me a qoute for $13k for the install. So the paddles will only be there for show. But the steering wheel feels awsome. It's thicker and somewhat softer leather than the stock one. Will post pics tomorrow.

Mods that I have left for now are the Comand 2.0, amg side skirts, and bigger AMG tips.

Got home from work little bit earlier today(made the deadline by one day on a IT project) so I took a few pics of the interior. The Comand 2.0 is still not installed.
Will post pics of the exterior later today
I also picked up my new 2011 Toyota Aygo(I know it's ghey and ****ty quality) but since the gas price just went up to $9/gallon I don't really care
The BMW 550i E60 will have to wait

Mike - the car looks awesome I love watching these transformations. Question, I presume that you did not have the shift buttons on the OEM steering wheel right?

Thanks Kev! No unfortunately It didn't, so the paddles are there just for show And the AMG steering wheel feels more luxurious than the stock one.
I'm adding the amg side skirts as soon as the seller shipps the right one to me.
I have a little dilemma with the exhaust, I can't fit bigger tips, but I'll post some pics of the "problem" later on.
Will post new pics today.

Mike, there might be a way we can get those paddles working by utilizing the tiptronic shifter. I found an off-site article (DIY) regarding this that worked like a charm, let me dig it out and PM you. I think I actually posted it before but can't remember.

Thanks Kev! It would be awsome if I get them to work.
Here are a few pics of the front in daytime
Will do a full body shot when it's all done.

Steering wheel, shift knob, wood insert on the glove box. Interior looks very clean!
