considering doing the same... that taillight install was pretty sloppy in the video though. To me it looked like the small light was not a good fit.
any 1st hand reviews?

Laminex cheap? Its like $50 to for our headlights i think. Considering there is rolls out there for 6-10 dollars Laminex is expensive.
I have noticed though their material is pretty thick. I have the kit for my fog lights but have not installed it yet.

You might get the rainbow color effect by doing this though so dont give up. I am thinking to do a very light tint on mine as well even though they are black from the inside.

installing the laminx looks like installing a zagg on your electronics.

i meant "tint" as the color from laminx.

they have tint and gunsmoke.

and if you have the ***** to do it yourself, you can buy their sheet of charcoal if you want that dark.

haha...thought so...we all make mistakes...

I've been looking at his photos for awhile now and have been wanting to change my vinyl tint to lamin-x because of his photos...just so lazy...

I can't justify buying that much for a roll of tint that it 6 bucks for a longer roll on ebay, but hey you pay for quality and convenience...I'll go with the gunsmoke most likely to keep the same color theme as the ones I have on my car now...

Yeah they're in my album in my profile...

https://mbworld.org/forums/members/n...es-vic-ky.html

Can't post them here because I've already used them in another thread...

Also, I don't have xenons either...

Reason why I want to switch to lamin-x is because the lamin-x tint seems to have a "truer black" color instead of an off black like vinyl tint from ebay or other sources...

ahh ic. and i was thinking about buying a sheet of laminx so that i can tint out the tails in the white section like you have done.

and for the fogs. i have 3000k fogs. soooo iono what color to get. im debating of matching with tint or using clear.

There is definitely a decrease in light output, but to be honest everywhere I drive there are always street lights...every street is well lit, but if I do come across a rare street without lights my vision is still fine out the front, but out the side windows it's horrible (but that's because of my 5% tint)...lol...
