2009 CLK 550 Cabriolet
New to me 2003 CLK 500
Hey all, picked up the car on Friday and drove it from Indianapolis back to Kansas. Been lurking around here for a few weeks and all I can say is you guys have a lot of nice cars and fabulous ideas. Looks like quad exhaust, deck lid spoiler, and front spoiler are must haves.
Also, I have learned anyone that does not want to spend $$$$ should not read threads from Dynomite05. Just kidding, very nice car and love the ideas!!
Car is nicely equipped with Nav, Keyless Go, Xenon, Factory phone (which takes up entire console). Previous owner uodated the tele-aid to digital system and bought a lifetime subscrition. Not anything I need, but hey it is there. Car turned 36K on way home and was a one owner well maintained vehicle. I will take my own pictures soon. I'm sure I will be reaching out for some assistance in the future.
Also, my CLK550 had projector fogs. I think I have seen a thread for this style fog for the pre-face bumper? Is the light production better? I will do a search.
Lastly, any opinions on the wheel in the picture are welcome. Not a traditional MB wheel, but I think it may look good. It is polished not chrome.
Thanks,
Sam

Congrats on the car and I think the wheel will look just fine on a black car as long as it isn't +20"...

Looks awesome Sam...welcome...the above mentioned will be great for your car along with tint and sprint booster...
As for the rims it is all up to you and your tastes just read up on offsets, spacers, rim sizes, tire sizes, drop, spring pads, etc.

Congrats!
Those pictures take me back to when I first picked up my baby! Enjoy her and let us know how she progresses. You'll find the W209 members here are helpful and friendly.

Welcome to the family. She's a beaut, and I see you have some nice plans for her. The projector fogs are a great and easy mod. The light output is much better than stock. I bought mine on eBay.

Thanks for all the comments. I was screwing around on here and lost track of time and failed to win an auction for a set of 2009 CLK 550 AMG wheels and tires taken off after 6 weeks of use. Went for $860 on the bay. Damn it. I was willing to go 1K. I know, I should have proxy bid, but I hate doing that. Damn it!!

Just means there must be another set out there that's truly meant to be. Don't be hasty. Plenty of time for a good search before Spring. Still haven't put my summer wheels on.

I just got the same one too! Same color. Minus the keyless go though. I bought mine and have had it for about a month. I've been looking for projector falls as well but haven't really found anything online so let me know when you do. Anyone else find any sites to purchase this from?
