8000K and "tint" laminex

this just in:

d1S bulbs of 8000K + "tint" level laminex decreases lightoutput production that wayyyyy more than the website's 20%!

Yeah, 8000k is pretty blue and the actual light output is pretty low. That combined with a tint film over the headlights? Definitely not good.

Mine too seems very dark after tint, installed LED city lights helps a little.
Thinking about experimenting with painting housing black. Buying an ebay light and taking it a part.

I try the 8000K tint laminex along time ago and got the same result like you and it also look to rice racer. I try it because after both of mine foglights len crack and I wanted protection. I end up just going with clear laminex instead.

The clear one, if you do it right, you couldn't even tell that it there. I didn't buy the pre-cut. I bough the roll and extra thickness on the material because it cheaper and if I mess up, I still have left over to redo it. It was very easy to and it got it right everytime. I also did mine friend car too.
