Pic Build Thread(photoshop CS5)
i put this one together really fast, ill post a new one up which goes more in depth soon
btw, this is a teaser from the shoot i did this morning!
here is the original pic in photoshop CS5
I first adjusted the shadows using the shadows and highlights option
(Image-->adjustments-->shadows and highlights)
---after shadows and highlights
after that i did HDR Toning
(Image-->adjustments-->HDR Toning)
after HDR Toning
then i used selective coloring to change the colors in the original pics to my own preference
after selective coloring
Then came sharpening, i used the smart sharpen filter
(filter-->sharpen-->smart sharpen)
After sharpening i used the vibrance tool to adjust the vibrance of the colors
then i re-did selective coloring just to make the colors look a little better
i didnt like how the tailights looked so i selected them using the polygonal lasso tool and once again used selective coloring to recolor them
I did the same thing with the chimney
I determined that the lambo in the garage in the background looked too blurry, so i selected it using the polygonal lasso tool and used the smart sharpen filter again to sharpen it up
after smart sharpen on superleggera
i then clicked the levels button and adjusted them to darken up the picture a little
Then i used the photo filter tool to warm the picture up a little
i then copy and pasted in my logo/watermark
i right clicked the layer for the watermark and then clicked on blending properties and messed around with the blending options

That was really informative pal. I look at you pictures and I think "how the heck does he get such a HDR look to them when they clearly are single shots?" Now I know! I guess I'll have to 'invest' in CS5, I think I have CS2 on my PC at home.

I just watched a video on CS5, WOW! That is one powerful program. Funny enough, for years i've been saying "I wish you could just select something and have CS delete and fill it for you", aka, no more clone tool... 'Content-aware fill' is absolutely incredible!
I know what I'll be searching for in Dubai this weekend

meh, you enhanced the ugly reflections on the car. stuff sitting out of frame reflecting. power lines, etc. Gotta clean that up. I think the original photo looks cleaner. the point is to make the car look good. you might want to add some blur to the background to remove it from the focus.

I see you are a pro photographer yes, nice camera of choice, I also have a 5D MKII with L series lenses. I have the eye but not the post editing skills yet.
