I am looking to buy some AMG springs of a C55 and was wondering if it will be any difference in the drop?

Thanks

I am thinking to get Eibachs or H&R but i am not looking into being as flush as you are lol.

If the AMG's are lower than ill get those and be happy

I don't think it's that much of a difference, but not really sure.

Springs have nothing to do with being flush.

Oem shocks...was going to get Bilsteins but got an extra set of oem shocks for unbelievably cheap off a member here...

Ride is still that Mercedes feel of a ride...definitely go bilstein and choose your preference of spring pad...make sure your offset is flush too though...

It's cool man...

I don't have spacers I have a wheel with an offset of ET25 all the way around...the stock AMG wheel is ET 35?...but I'm probably wrong...what offset means in simple terms is the higher the offset (ex: ET35) is closer to the caliper, but if you get a wheel with an offset of ET25 like mine then the wheel is push outwards closer/ flush to the fenders...

Discount tires has a great illustration online of wheels/ offsets...

What spacers do is push your wheel for example with ET35 outwards so a 10mm spacer pushes the wheel with an offset of ET25 to look like the ones I have... ET35 + 10mm spacer= new offset of ET25...

This is a basic way to explain it but it gets the point across...

Haha higher the offset ex being ET35 the wheel gets closer to the caliper or in more...while a lower offset ex being ET25 the wheel is pushed out further than the ET35 wheel meaning the ET25 is pushed outwards giving your car a wider stance because the wheel is being pushed "out" of the wheel well to be flush with the fender or body of the car...

Haha study the photo though...just ask of you have questions after...lol...

That's not bad...I got my 19's with falken 452's for $1700-$1800ish...and that is with a warranty...search man as there is plenty of nice stuff out there...what made me decide Mandrus for sure was the different choice of offsets as I didn't want to use spacers...

+10 on the eibachs over AMG. AMG sometimes doesn't look like much. Eibachs are a good compromise between AMG and completely slammed.

eibach or vogtland springs. and get konis for adjust-ability if you'd like.

as far as the wheels go, you should just get the wheels your want (assuming they arent custom forged), then get a measuring device and measure the distance between your tire and the fender. add that amount of spacer and you should be flush. if you wanna go "hella flush" then add more.

Mario, have you thought about forgestars? $2000-$2200 for wheels and tires with custom offsets.

BTW: In the first pic I linked, all the red spots are possible clearance issues.
