Exclamation CLK W209 (2005) Upgrading front headrests

Looking to upgrade my 2005 CLK headrests to this kind of headrest below (see pics). The 2006 and 2007 CLKs already have them standard. Does anyone have the parts number for them? I believe the part number is the same (A 203....etc) for CLK, C and E classes. Let me know if you have any for sale and/or the parts numbers. I need black/charcoal (like in this first photo).

the back looks like this:

from this style:

It would be great if we could put S class headrests there.

Maybe they look a little off but man are they comfy lol

I could get the part numbers tomorrow, but I don't really see any difference. Maybe it's just me.

Look at the shape Dyno. The 06+ are slight more curved and smaller. Do yours have the tilt feature as well?

I guess. Mine don't tilt, just go up and down. I looked up the headrests before for another member and I believe they were $278 each through parts.com. Is it really worth it just for the tilt?

Wink CLK headrest upgrade

guys here is a pic of the back of the newer headrests. to me its not about the tilt so much, although that's nice too. the backing is bigger and fuller and more attractive in my opinion:

the ones in my car (2005 CLK) look like this on the backside...small hard backing:

Here is the part number (20997048509e43) Parts.com shows it as "Solid color Anthracite Back". I used the VIN off this CLK to get that number (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2009-...item1e62755e4b)

Thumbs up CLK headrest upgrade for 2005

yeah i don't know what is up with the pics...i give up trying to post them.

anyways....i would only replace them if i find a good used set for a good price...not paying $280.00 apiece for ones. no way.

thanks all. especially Dynomite. you always have answers or know where to look.
