So I found a link as to how to install the sensor but it has a diagram from the WIS ASRA softwrae. It asks to remove the air filter housing, remove the hot film mass air flow sensor, and finally remove the air duct housing.

Could someone that has the software pull information for me as to how to do these three parts? The section numbers appear as follow: AR09.10-P-1150QB, AR07.07-P-1453QB, and AR09.20-P-0080QB

I would really appreciate it.

Thank you

Can anyone tell me if and why I need to remove the hot film mass air flow sensor? If so, how do I do that? I would really appreciate some further help as I am looking to tackle this task tonight.

So I tried fixing this issue myself tonight and couldn't fix it. I managed to remove the mass air sensor but just couldn't find or reach the CPS to remove it and install the new one.

In the process I broke the collar that wraps around the maf. Does anyone know if I can buy just the collar or does that come with the maf? What is this part called because I haven't been able to find it online?

If anyone can still help me remove the CPS that would be greatly appreciated.

I drive the racism out of BadDebt. ;)
heres my 2 cents as I have done this job for countless people here in vancity.

The most easy and quickest way to replace the CPS sensor is to

remove airbox

purge fuel line (to allow for valve cover removal)

remove right valve cover ( to allow for more hand movement and flexibility)

then remove cps sensor...
