Loud rumbling groaning noise - ????

Anyone have this problem? When it's raining and the road is really wet, I get a loud rumbling groaning noise from my front left wheel. But only when it's wet. I've had this problem for about 4 years so it 's happened with different wheels and tires, it's happened when I was on 18's, it happened on my stock brakes.

Becasue it's ONLY the front left, my only guess is that something electrical is getting wet. Or the water is somehow causing some friction on the bearings. What do y'alls think?

not sure yet - I had the bearing replaces in Sept, but we've had almost no rain out here in Cali to see if that was the issue. My shop also noted that the bearing wasn't packed correctly with grease which was odd to me because it was still original. They probably meant it was lacking grease due to normal wear/time. Will update this.

On mine, I don't think it's the bearings. If I hit a large enough puddle and get whatever it is wet enough, the noise is present when stopped and at idle. I thought my exhaust was loose the first time I heard it but ruled that out when it only happened in the rain. Now I'm suspecting the belt but there should be enough plastic under there to cover it from the rain.

I'll have to take a closer look under there the next time I do an oil change.
