PS pump problem

So heres my story

one day when making a turn fully locking the wheel, i heard a strange noise coming from the engine bay....i figured it was a lack of ps fluid. verified that it was a lack of ps fluid. bought some pentosin at napa. filled it.

it was good for about 2 weeks. no leaks on the floor.
then about a week later, the sound came back. so i put more fluid in it..but now i started to notice that the there would be a small drip on my garage floor.

brought my car into an indy that was recommended by others...talked to Randy from Octane...turns out my o-ring from the ps unit split. replacement cost 450.
then i get a call from him saying my pump is good but the high pressure hose went bad. so thats another 100.

posting this as a data log for anyone with future ps problems.
when i searched, those that brought it to the dealer, they said it was the entire rack and pinion which costs roughly 1k. good thing i went with an indy!

picking her up later today after the work is done!

That hp hose to the banjo fitting on the rack is a common failure with age.

Which O ring has failed? 450 sounds like a lot of money to replace an O ring but it depends where it is.
