Ok, so i just got back. The exhaust looks GREAT but it's a bit too loud for me. I had my cat and resonators yanked out and we installed a 409SS muffler after the x pipe and brought out 2 pipes for the quad. So basically it goes OEM headers-> magnaflow X-pipe -> Muffler -> tips. From a light, it's a bit too loud from 1-2k for me, i think i need to either 1) put the lil bubble resonators back on to make a bit quieter or 2) get a new muffler? if so what should i get?

How loud is your car, you have a clip? I told you about what I had planned, I think I'll be doing something similar to your setup magnaflow xpipe & borla muffler with sec cat delete. It'll sound like a demon straight from hell!!

loud ? Did you hear mine ? Post some video clip so we can hear it... I see that you still have the stock Y-pipe in place why not get the magnaflow ( the one w/ 2 in & 2 out) then 2 new pipe going after your x pipe then muffler then another 2 pipe to the tips .
Edit: Both of my friend ( they all have CLK500) got the magnaflow and i used to have the magnaflow on my 320 back then but i decided to use the two cherry bomb this time on mine 500.

PS guys, i just heard it from the outside...it's not as loud from the outside (just sounds like a LOUD E55)...i guess it's the drone on the inside...would the bubble resonators fix that?

Anyone have any clue as to what i can do to get rid of the drone?
I was thinking of putting my bubble resonators back on-i'm thinking right after my X pipe and before the oem Y pipe. Would that help reduce the drone or should i do it after the muffler? OR.....should i replace my x-pipe with a resonated x-pipe? I'm trying to reduce drone..please chime in

I personally think because it your X-pipe. Try the H-pipe like on factory. H pipe air does not clash each other like U pipe and X pipe.
