Hit a pothole today. Slight bend.

Well it has been about 25 years since I bent my last wheel a 3.5" Centerline wheel. Hit a pothole I never seen coming. The bend is slight, but bent nonetheless. Going to have a local company take a look at it Wednesday. Anyone with an experience with wheel repair? Good or Bad idea? In the full wheel shot the bend is about 1 -2 o'clock.

Sorry to hear that we have all been there unfortunately.
It is very small though i doubt you will have any problem with it.

Not the best time to ask you this but what are you lowered on?

Yeah it really sucks. I'm at least going to have it looked at.

Thanks Euro. I hope so. The wheel co. is pretty active with the MB chapter I belong to. Several members have had curb rashes fixed by them with no complains. Don't know about a bend though.

Its too small I would not touch it. They usually have to heat it up and then straighten it out I think it messes with the integrity of the metal.

That's is exactly why I am going to have them take a look first. Then I'll ask what the process is going to be.

at first i didnt really notice it. but honestly id leave it since its not too bad. and if it doesnt leak air <-- that should be your primary concern. if it doesnt leak, then leave it.

No leak so far. when I jacked the car up last night and spun the wheel it is noticeable. That's what I don't like. Got a work thing going on today so going to have to wait until tomorrow to have it checked out.

Got my appointment set for tomorrow. Can't wait to see this machine they are going to use. The tech said the tire and wheel are mounted without being broken down. Quote was 110.00. But cash talks.. 80.00 if I decide to do it. Got my fingers crossed. Contact the wheel manufacturer and found out the wheel has been discontinued in the et32 I have.

I know that just pisses you off to no end. But that isn't bad compared to others, who have taken chunks out of the wheels, and bend so severely that they needed replacing.
