Pics of my car
Fai+H777 asked yesterday if I'd post some pics, so here they are. I suppose for those who say the W209 looks like a "girlie" car, this is the girliest color combo of all. I don't care. When I was in about the 10th grade many, many, many years ago I concieved my first "dream car" - a mid-60s Jaguar E-type convertible in dark wine red with an off-white interior - even darker than this car. This is as close as I'll get.
This just turned 30k. I've had it four months. I posted a low light shot because it really does change color to a much darker burgundy in low light. It's by far the rarest color - probably 2 out of 100. I guess not many people like it. This a P3 car. I like the looks of the perforated leather although the active ventilation feature ain't much. The only "mods" so far are the updated i-Pod cable and the wood insert on the glove box from ForMyMercedes. For anybody who likes the wood or just has to live with it, it's a worthwhile addtion. I want new wheels at some point.

Beautiful CLK Yidney. That color is rare indeed. I came really close to buying a white coupe with that interior color.
