Thanks... finally have all my bodykit parts on order! So I'm just going to try and do everything at once. These vents look interesting, but I think I'm just going to stay away from CF parts all together for now.

+1...but the overall car is cool
however, if I was the owner of the car I would've got the double din pioneer head unit instead of the one he has

That's like a DTM conversion.

I threw up in my mouth a little when I saw that white one. I am already a big fan of the body lines on this car from the factory, I could never do a widebody conversion or a body kit that looks like it will be utilized in catching butterflies. I would make babies with a real DTM version though.

Pretty sure this is the same car from Dynos post.
I remember when this car 1st hit the scene... incredible work, and the Black was not even out to copy. But now that I own a 209, and we have been lucky enough for the fine designers at MB to come out with the BS, when I look at the car, something just looks off... To me the rear flares are too low on the belt line of the car it just throws off the lines.
Compare the flare height in relation to the fuel door vs. black series car.

again no disrespect to the incredible work on the conversion it was beautiful. MB just happened to hit a home run with the styling on the 63 Blackie

now back on topic... see how the front vents go up onto the fender flare of the BS... no way that works on our car.

Just pick up the vents at the Post Office today. I won't be home until tomorrow to try it out but already see a major problem. The vent slot is designed to slide onto the factory vent slot on the C63. Since mine bumper has no vent, is pretty much flat surface (no way I would cut the bumper), there's about 7mm gap all the way around when I lay the carbon vent onto a flat surface. I would have to sand down the middle section of the vent down to eliminate the gap but then that would also remove the middle vent to half the size and that does not look good at all. I'm not going to giving up on this mod because the part look so nicessssss. I'll find a way to make it work.

It about .5 in. too tall. I can make it shorter over all in size but not into it anymore so i'm saving vents and the camber kit that I bought as "group buy" awhile back for the Slk55.
