Shocks & Struts Question!

I am having H&R spring on my ride. It is OEM shocks+H&R spring.

Because my odometer is getting 150k very soon, I want to replace my shocks and struts.

I searched bilstein one and it seems there are 3 kinds of shocks there.

Sport, Heavy duty, touring.

I want my car to be comfortable as much as stock.

What should be my choice?

Anyone can explain me the differences?

I have searched forum and every thread talks about sports one.

So Please let me know. Any comment will be very very thankful.

correct me if im wrong, but the difference between the three are the travel distance of the shock absorber. sport should be paired with lowering springs according to most tuners ive talked to. HD should be for stock although, some members on here have them with their H&R and love them. not sure about touring tho.

if you want the option, why dont you get koni yellows. they are adjustable. at full soft, it felt softer than OEM. and full stiff felt like **** in the streets of san francisco. i set it somewhere in the middle and love them. plus you get the option of adjusting as you go to your own setting

You're not wrong but say it this way to make it more accurate. You can use Sport strut/shock on any spring including stock spring but if you use shorter spring then you MUST use sport strut/shock.

you wont have a much lowered stance because the amg spring and shocks are desgined to carry the weight of the amg vehicle. if you still want an aggressive stance that your car is on H&R springs, then get some aftermarket shocks/strut

I just wanna be in piece when I am in the city. I used to drive almost only high way so there wasn't any problem with it but it is annoying these days when I am in city. I am looking for staying lowered with oem quality soft suspension which is non sense to me tho.
Anyway thank you for the all of replies thanks.
