Vertical doors on a clk / aftermarket subwoofer in trunk
What are everyone's thoughts and opinions on Lambo doors from vertical doors Inc. Has anyone here have them installed and can comment on the fitment and quality of the kit. I've found a supplier here in Australia who can get them for me and I know that with doors like that on a merc convertible is just gonna leave peoPle speechless .
Also has anyone got an aftermarket sound system with a subwoofer installed in a convertible and have rattle issues where the glass of the roof of the rear windscreen meets the cars body... Is there any way to fix this or do ya basically just have to put up with it or put a smaller subwoofer..

Haha yeah it's probably not the ideal mod for you guys up there but I know if I get that, provided that it's all installed and fitted correctly, it's gonna turn heads like a naked woman running down the road lol. I suppose in a way it's like try hard Lamborghini but it wouldn't look too bad as it's on a decent car and not just some run around every day car.. I've seen photos of the evosport black series and I rekon the doors set the car off. I suppose everyone's has different views on them..

CLK Sub
I had a 2007 CLK that I put a system in. The guys at Cartunes in Atlanta knew of a unique spot to put the sub.
They pulled back the carpet on the passenger side to reveal a metal plate that formed the foot rest area of the passenger side, right against the fire wall. There was quite a bit of space under there so they took the plate out and made a custom box for a JL 8" sub. The grill for the cover severed as the support for the carpet since no real weight support was needed.
It may sound like a small sub but it put out decent bass and was aimed directly into the passenger compartment so it sounded great. It would not be the best for the bass enthusiast but for normal bass needs it was great

Lol yeah it's actually the number plates if my car..
The "V" is there automatically for "Victoria". Which is the state I live in... It's called a custom euro plate here so all plates start with a V then the rest of the 5 characters we can personalize.
It would make sense if I had photos of my car on my sig but I can't seem to put them up all my pics are large size and Im not sure how to reduce them to a small size.. I've tried image reducers but still doesn't shrink it down enough

None fast enough!
we did the CLKBS with these doors and they were really a mistake. I would not recommend them. We tried to talk the client out of them before install, but he insisted. Once installed the damaged the fenders and ended up coming off the car.
thanks
