crap I was hoping its closer to 7
They do not sell the big jags here in Chicago for the 0W 40 so thats $8.49 / quart but Autozone has a $10 off coupon
My indi mechanic did it at $60 plus my filter so I gotto give him a call I guess, there goes my plan to do it myself
The vacuum pump guess will stay in the box...

its 8.5.
the thing i cant figure out. is when i put 8.5 and turn on the car it reads at 8 but i figure its cuz .5 runs through the engine and filter. so iono if i should put 9 so theres 8.5 while the engine is running or leave it at 8.5
if you can wait, try to find the deals at the autostore where they give you an oil filter + 5 qt for 30. and get 2 of those. do you need to do it now?

I never see these types of deals in Midwest area, its only for the 'normal' oil never 0W40.

Mobil 1 0-W40
8 ½ QT With Filter
Ang you can use an engine Flush before you change the oil and it will clean up all the gunk built up. But stick to Mobil 1 Oils =]

Yes always Mobile 1 0w40 but question I have now is how long can I go on this, can I go well over a year with out changing it. Its a syntactic oil after all so it should last far longer time wise. I only put on maybe 4k miles a year. With my previews car I used regular oil and changed once a year. I know I can easily go 7-8k miles with the syntactic, just not sure if I should still change it after a year and 4k miles or could keep it for longer, lets say change it every 6k / 1.5 years.

Honestly I Change my Oil every 4k just to be on the safe side and try to keep my K&N air filters clean as possible, if you dont drive it too much at least turn it on a few times that you dont drive it .

oh right forgot, I have K&N oil filter waiting for the oil change but for air filters I use MANN Filter, they make the Mercedes OEM ones, these under their name are identical minus the mercedes logo
