W209 (aftermarket) bi-xenon lights coming soon....
I emailed seller about a week ago with some questions and still had no response.....I replaced my high beam bulbs with different bulbs and now cannot figure out how to reclamp the clip that holds the bulb holder into the housing....can't really see it so have to do by feel....some instructions would have been helpful...I know the seller does not want to be involved or provide install instructions, but he should provide basic "how to change the bulb, how to aim the lights etc info".....I have also noticed my drivers side high beam is aimed downward....cannot figure out how to aim high beam...the projector actually feels loose in the housing....anyway, will try emailing seller again....Once again, no one is blaming you for any of this....you did a good thing by organizing the group buy....also, I agree that none of these issues has anything to do with who did the install....after the install, one should be able to aim lights and change bulbs without going to a professional mechanic....
Read the thread there are a few more and again thanks for putting this together. I do NOT expect you to fix it just reporting whats happening.
Thanks again
Seller's responsibility - Defect
1. Flickering lights = defect
2. Loose Projector pushed in = defect
Buyer's responsibility - Inexperienced installer
1. If you replaced the high beam bulbs with different bulbs and now cannot figure out how to reclamp the clip that holds the bulb holder into the housing
2. If you cannot figure out how to adjust the height of the beams
3. If you are getting moisture in the headlights = possibly a loose soft rubber seal on the back on the low beam cover that you probably pulled on the wires during installation. Read prior post on applying silicone and making sure it sits flush with the rear hard plastic cover.
Most aftermarket parts and even OEM parts do not come with DIY instructions, they assume you are a professional installer who's familiar with the vehicle.
I am sorry to hear about the flickering and loose projector problems and do not blame you for the installation, but in the latter three examples, you may be responsible for those problems and not the seller.
Last but not least, don't worry it's covered under warranty. Email the seller (Simon) at fish123@speedstersource.com. I had problems with my LED rear tail lights I purchased from him, he later sent out new ones and it was resolved.
I know it's a PITA and I apologize for the inconvenience.

even after getting the nasty side fasteners off getting the old lights out was a *****
here are a few additional suggestions
first inspect and plug the new units in and make sure they work and that the aimers are functional
install led's and new high beams (if you got some really white ones), again make sure they work before beginning.
start on passenger side with lots more room to maneuver
in addition to the other posted info....
loosen the fender bolts (easy to re-align)
remove the front inner wheel well panels as well
tape the inner portion of the fender along the side of the light
tape the fender where it meets the bumper along the sides
get an 8mm ratcheting wrench
and expect to get some cuts
it can be a rewarding experience, but if you can find somebody competent who is willing do the job for $100 or so, PAY HIM

wish me luck! and best of luck to the rest of the 16 buyers.
The fender clip and finding a spot to put the ballasts were the hardest part.
..I wanna compare mine with yours.....zoom up on the projectors (low & high beams) please....I want to see if theres supposed to be a gap there.
I thought the projectors were flushed up against the base of the projector lenses.

Check on the connectors.....My high beam would not come on, was because one of the connectors did not make contact because it retreated back into the housing.....need to pull the connector back out and then reconnect.....let me know how it works out for you....
My wire connector was fine, my issue with the driver's side turn signal was the bulb was loose.
Try unlocking it from the assembly and then reinserting. You can do this with the light assembly installed but it is a tight fit.

Finally had a free day to play with my new lights.....I decided to R&R my high beam bulbs with Philips X-tremes(much whiter light, brighter)....these where the bulbs I was using with my original Halogens.....anyway, spent some time trying to figure out the R&R.....
First open the black cover for the high beams by rotating it
Undo the plug to the bulb first.
On Driver's side, this is all done by feel, but undo clip that retains the bulb in place
Take out old bulb, put in new bulb....The bulb has a tab on one end
This tab goes in with the tab pointing downwards
Replace clip
Replace connector
Replace black cover
The passenger side is much easier to do if you remove the horn....then it can be done under direct vision rather than by feel.....
Good Luck
Will try to post pictures of the high beams with the Philips x-treme bulbs when it gets darker tonight if I get a chance...

So, after that experience and reading all 19 pages of this thread, I gotta hand it to you guys!
1. How the heck did this GB fly under the radar for so long??!? Oddly enough, it nearly complies with the GB rules, other than having it pre-approved by mods and running only in the GB Forum.
2. God bless you self-installers, even after reading the many little issues other self-installers had. I had read that W203 DIY headlamp removal thread some years ago and thought "fuggeddabouddit!"
3. Just how different are the repro BiXenons you guys got from OEM BiXenons, both in appearance and operation?
