How much should labor cost for changing shocks and Brakes?

How much should labor cost for changing shocks and Brakes?
Hey im new here, i just had someone change my back shocks and front struts. He also replaced the 4 springs and strut mounts. I also had him change my rear brakes. He is asking for 500 labor. I provided him with all the parts. Does this sound reasonable? Any idea on what the dealer would charge? Thank you.

That seems pretty reasonable to me. I am almost ready to have my car lowered change all 4 springs 2 shocks and 2 struts add a camber kit and align the car.
One Indy shop quoted 700 and change and one quote was 900 and change for Just the labor I have all the parts. I personally thought they where both high, but I have never done this before. I am glad to see you posted this thread so it would also give me a idea if those are fair prices.

Not sure from where you’re posting, but ~$125-an-hour is standard fare for skilled technicians in my neighborhood.
Note they typically realize a substantial margin from their supplied parts and consumables, too.
Chassis and brake work on these cars is not too challenging, although it’s critical it be done correctly.
If you’re pleased with his/her/their work, sounds like you’ve cultivated a worthy provider for your future MB repairs and maintenance.

For what I am having done as descriped in the above post does not include brakes 3.5 Hours for the Front and 3.5 Hours for the back they claim.
