Nav retrofit on 2005+ facelift CLK500?

I've done some searching and found many CLK nav retrofits. The only problem is that they are mostly for European upgrades, w208 to Command 2.0 retrofit.
I have a 2005 CLK500 with factory CD player/changer. I have a 2005 CLK Nav unit I would like to install. I assume all I need is the harness and GPS antenna? Then take the vehicle into MB to program the unit for my car?
Can anyone confirm the part numbers for the harness and antenna?

the harness you have now on your cd player should work, just unplug and plug your nav in, just need a GPS antenna (i got one from eBay for $24). no need to reprogram anything......goodluck

NAV backwards?

I just installed an MCS-II Comand from an 07 w209 into my 05 w209. The nav position is correct when I power the union but when I drive the direction of travel is reversed. So no matter what direction I drive, the gps goes the opposite direction.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

So literally it is showing your car in the wrong place on the map, and the more you drive, it continues to show you further from your actual location? Or, are you saying the map us upside-down so it drives toward the bottom instead of top?

It is 180 degrees out. The starting point is my house, if I drive west, it shows me going east, if I turn north, it shows me going south. The further I get from my home, the further I am in the wrong direction. I live between Austin an San Antonio Texas and when I head out to Austin, north east of me, I end up in north San Antonio on the map, which is south west of where I live.

Crazy, huh? Any ideas?

Three days in the car with the funky direction problem and the GPS just flipped. Last night we went for a ride and it just started working.

How odd - maybe it was some sort of calibration issue. Oh well, glad it's working now!
