Hey everyone!

I bought a set of 17X8 rims for my 03 CLK 500. I am looking to buy a set of high performance all-season tires and want to know the following:

1.Can I run staggered setup if tires with 17x8 wheels all around? (225/45/17) and (245/40/17)?

2. What is the range of tire width for a 8.0 inch wheel width? For example....225, 235, 245, 255?

3. Of those listed in #2, what is the best setup with a 40 or 45 profile?

4. Do I have to run staggered tires when the rim width of all 4 wheels are 8.0? Or can I run the same size tire all around?

If you can answer this. YOU are awesome. I have an idea I need to run a stagger setup based on that fact my brabus monoblocks VI's are 18's and I am running staggered tires. But ideally I would like to run the same size all around and try to save some cash.
