Nice find Mikey, i think they look fantastic except for the awful driving lights (both the strip light and twin fogs), they just dont look right in that front end.

I agree. Without the fogs, the bumpers looks great.

Something else I find very annoying about all the aftermarket bumper covers for the 209 is that they all have the parktronic sensor locations/recessions and no chrome strip. Obviously for guys that have the parktronic it's cool but for us without it, it makes the kit look messy. If the 209 bumper strip was removable like the 203 there would be no issues at all.

I think that front end would look fantastic on my CLK and I'd make good use of the large air openings for my supercharger heat exchanger and brake cooling ducts. I guess since its fiberglass I could always have the parktronic recessions filled in before painting. The cost of it is a little high but the real hit would be having a CF front lip made for it because it would have to be a custom one off....

I hear you. I searched ebay for a long time to find a amg bumper without parktronic. Never found one so I decided to buy a bumper with the parktronic holes, both front and rear.
Seems to me that all customers buying Mercs in Germany choose parktronic..

I sent them an email with a few questions, hopefully someone there speaks English better than I speak German.

I wouldn't hold my breath From my experience almost all ebay.de sellers never respond to emails written in English. Not because they don't want to(like the french) but because they can't write in english. If you don't get an answer use google translate and write them an email in german

I did the Google translate thing once before when I was trying to buy a gauge bezel (in the end I just bought the whole new cluster from MB), it was a disaster to say the least

We'll see what happens here with this, worth a try.

That "black series" bumper with this Vaeth rear diffusor would look sick.

Yeah, seen it, pretty much just a CLK63 bumper whereas the ones you posted have that Black Series look - sure like them.

Do you think the Vaeth diffusor is too much on a regular amg bumper?
It might look to beefy?

Yes, I might be able to pull it off with the Vorsteiner spoiler but it would be pushing it. I actually was on the verge of ordering a year ago when I was buying up my goodies but I wasn't convinced it would look right and it's $2K USD IIRC.

Okay, got an email back, very attentive staff that speak (well, type at least) excellent English. Here's the scoop; front bumper cover 1,450EUR, matching CF front lip 850EUR plus shipping, brokerage and customs duties.

Nice stuff but not exactly cheap, looking at about $4,000USD installed.

Sounds expensive. Something tells me you are considering it?
Could you get the bumper without the fogs?

Yep, the fogs (both round and LED) are optional at an additional cost. The 'standard' cover ships without fogs and full grills.

You'd think for the prices they charge that fogs would be included even though they dont look good.

Let's not forget about the paint job for these bumpers to match on your car, otherwise you're going to leave the black bumpers on your car.
