Intake manifold broken?

Sorry. I've misled you. I posted the wrong darn picture I've withdrawn it.
We are talking at cross purposes because of terminology. You are replacing the correct part ~ Magnet ~ Improved part number P/N 2720510177 ~ 3 torx mounting. Should solve the problem
AKA ~ camshaft solenoid. (incorrectly)
I apologise ~ I must be getting old

Great info!!! Thanks!
I ordered today my new OEM intake manifold with 2 gaskets for $636.45. Guess what I'll be doing next weekend

Ok, I changed the intake manifold and now the lean codes are gone but... I probably have done something wrong. I now have random misfires and hear some loud flapping noises coming from I guess the throttle body. Often the engine even dies down. Could I have busted somehow the throttle body? It was dirty and I did clean it and moved the flap back and forth few times. What could I have done wrong? Do I need to reset adaptations and if yes, how?

I took it apart today again and found that one of the gaskets was not sitting correct on place and because of that it was damaged too allowing huge vacuum leak. Tomorrow I'm getting new gaskets hopefully this time I'll get it right. I inspected the TB and found nothing wrong with it. Obviously the problem was coming from the gasket.

Success!!! I got it right this time I changed the gaskets by using zip ties to hold them in place. Worked flawlessly. The engine is working like Swiss watch! I also changed the oil and now I almost can't hear it working. It's again that quiet. I'm very happy now!!!

It is usually the fluid pump. I believe the dealers change both the primary pump and torque converter. But there are many of these driving around with 100K+ miles on a whiny transmission with no other issue.

trannypump
It just started so i stop driving it car shifts fine only 70 235 miles but tranny never been serviced slight wine ran diagnostic got no tranny code nore check engine light

manifold
I have seen manifolds with other components damaged but it is usually just the plastic actuator (switchover valve) rods that break.
We are having a bit of a language problem but that's OK. Use the terms that Benz use in the diagram & maybe I will understand your question better.
The part you show is now made of cast alloy & the ball head is integral.

my 06 R350 wouldnt go over 45 mph so I replaced the whole manifold as the it was broken, with a new one. now the car still acts the same and won't go over and almost dies when I try to. does any one know a cheap tool that will reprogram the car or initialize it ? or any solution for this crappy car that's been giving me headaches for 2 months now

Replacement guide
My manifold failed at 125 000 miles and I had to replace it. My car is the W203 C230 V6, with M272 engine. If someone is interested to do replacement as a DIY project, here is my walkthrough how to do it:

I was suffering for a couple of years from codes P0171/P0174, P0172/P0175 and P0300. Those codes are about lean mixture and misfires on cylinders.
Code P0106 is about the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor, which provides manifold pressure information. Code P2004 is "intake manifold runner control stuck open bank 1" so it seems that you will be needing whole manifold replacement because other side has runners all the time open. This causes poor performance on low rpm.
I believe that MB does not provide any parts to the manifold because at 125 000 miles the manifold is completely wreck from the inside and replacing outer levers does not fix the main problem.

Thank you for your input.Ive taking the manifold off before when replacing the part for the tumbler. How much should I expect to pay for a manifold and what parts will I be swapping from my old manifold ?
Also what further damage could I cause driving with these codes & cel on?

You will be need to move the throttle body and black plug from the old manifold. Check my video's part 2 (Replacing MB M272 Intake Manifold Part 2 of 2 - YouTube) starting from time index 8:10.
The is no imminent damage to the engine if you keep on driving but in long term the engine does not like disproportion between sides and might cause premature wear to the engine. But I do not believe this is a big issue and might take thousands and thousands miles of driving. I would be worried about plastic parts from inside manifold getting in to the cylinders which will cause damage to the valves and could render the engine unusable. Also in my case as the lever fall off, I had an vacuum leak and the dirty air was getting in to the engine without going through air filter. The dirty air would wear the engine fast.
