Headlight Problems

Hey guys,

I been having trouble with my Bi-Xenon headlight for about a couple weeks now. The passenger side is acting funny, at times it won't turn on for an entire day (after numerous starts and etc)..but a day later it'll start working fine for a couple days till it goes out again. Anyone know what this could be? Would/could it be a ballast? If so anyone have a part # for the ballast of a 09 Bi-Xenon. Thanks

Sounds like it is to me. Are the head lights stock or after market ?

If they are factory, I assume you are still under warranty.

Good point Yidney. The reason I asked is just the ballast for the stock Bi-Xenon is not cheap at parts.com. OEM ballast are different then the after market connectors are not the same.

Seems to be a few problems with HIDs lately. Ballasts or modules...?

It's the ignitors that fail. Benz sells a repair kit so that you do not have to strip the headlight units.
